Hi! Thank you for reading Yuge H.S. Website! Every Monday is "English Day," when we students and teachers have two ALTs and try to speak English.
Today, in 1st graders' class, one of our ALTs, Xavier Sensei, made his self introduction!
Students who graduated from junior high schools in Kamijima must have known Xavier Sensei, who works for them, but they seemed to get new information about him and they enjoyed interaction between him and Joshua Sensei, the other ALT, as well!
In the recess, I was glad to hear the students and teachers saying "Good Morning" (not "Ohayo Gozaimasu.") to each other!👍👍👍 I hope we'll improve our English more and more!✨
Key Phrase for today is "No use(point) crying over spilt(spilled) milk." Parents may have heard the proverb before! Why don't you ask your parents? ;)
~Key Phrase
今日のKey Phraseは、「No use crying over spilt milk.」! 「It is no use crying over spilt milk.」

Today's poster is a physical education teacher who is not good at English.
I apologize if there are any grammatical mistakes.
Today was the first English day of the year. As the name suggests, conversations are only in English (this includes the teachers' meetings and SHR!!).
At Yuge High School, two ALT teachers will continue to support everyone’s English classes this year. The first-year students were unable to hide their surprise at their math teacher, who speaks English from the morning greeting.
Let's continue to use English regularly and strengthen our English skills!!
